this company has made mistakes from day one on my account. charges increasing every week 4 mistakes that they make when entering information. my payments although made on time and taken out my account were always stated made 5-10 days late posting in there system charging me late fees and my policy to cancel I still have not received my refund check 4 cancelling my policy its been over 30 days

Never go with this agency. I have had issues with this company from day one until today. Never received any paperwork such as cards, renewal papers I was told was in the mail 3 different times. The dumb ass people answering the phones never give you the same information, including my accurate bill date. My policy was canceled once on the morning of the 19th, even though at that time my bill was not due until the 20th. This is my last month with Titan Insurance. Next time don't go by what is the cheapest. If I could rate this a zero I would.....

A shiesty realtor recommended this company because she knew one of the agents. The premiums were higher than Geico. Payments had to be made weeks in advance to avoid extra fees, which made keeping track of the premiums difficult, and the customer service was awful. I complained to the agent and asked to cancel the policy. He referred me to the corporate office. There was a huge cancellation fee. I made an overpayment and after months still have not received a refund.
I switched to Geico and couldn't be happier!!

I have had Titan Ins for a number of years. Last month not only did they increase my premiums (no accidents/tickets) they also charged me an additional $14 fee. When I called to inquire, I was told the fee is because they sent me a statement. Really $14 for paper? You would think that a company this size could offer its customers an alternative, not only that but wouldn't you need me go get some sort of statement do you can get paid. Also your customer service rep hung up on me instead of transferring me to a supervisor. By the way , you can pull the call and see my behavior did not call for such action. For this reason I will not recommend anyone to Titan insurance.

I would advise staying clear away from Nationwide/Titan insurance. When I started with Titan, I set up monthly payments. I was set at around $187.00 per month for 6 months. Pricey but I had the coverage I wanted. After month 1, they sent me my monthly statement, which had increased to around $200. Every month on, it increased about $20. By the time it reached $300 per month, I canceled. It took my agent 3 weeks to respond to my call, and I am still getting billed from them when I cancelled my policy 2 months ago. Only $33, but still. They are money hungry and a huge scam.

Changed my policy over to Nationwide Direct. TSo, in other words, I got a new policy although Titan is under Nationwide. Titan , my old policy, still charged me electronically, knowing that I had cancelled my policy with them. Instead of refunding me immediately the way they withdrew the money, they sell me some BS that they have to issue me a check which can take up to 10 business days to receive AFTER the money clears from my account!!!! A week and a half goes by, still no check!!! I just called the idiots and now they are telling it me it will not be sent until MONDAY, its currently Friday, and it will take another 3-5 business days!! HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE!! They have been nothing but a big financial inconvenience!! BEWARE!!!

THEY ARE TERRIBLE! My insurance broker recommended them for the best price at the time. The price has gone up consistantly and thats not the worst part. I was in a car accident, and tried to file a claim. I couldnt get anyone on the phone or any response to my messages for over 3 days!! When i finally did, the lady on the phone SONJA was horrible! She couldnt understand anything i was saying, and when i tried to explain the sitation she would twist my words and say she was phrasing me. EXCUSE ME? Look at the phone recording. Nothing she was putting down was my words. When i told her she has horrible customer service and i wanted her name, and that i was paying for this service and deserved something more, she hung up on me! HUNG UP? On your customer? WOW. I called back and she answered the phone giving the name Sonja. She argued with me back and fourth about there was nothing she could do and to have a lawyer get ahold of her. I am switching this insurance company as soon as this claim closes. Disgrace of a company and to their customer. DO NOT USE THEM

There billing department will claim to attempt collecting via auto payment from your bank. Then slap a $30 fee on it when your bank tells you they never attempted to pull the money. That would be $30 extra dollars per month from how many people? Nice racket.

They are terrible they are a money hungry company who takes your money and make changes to your policy and raise your monthly payments to 300 a month when it was 79 a month they then cancel your policy without you knowing and make u pay 280 to reinstate it terrible

My wife is a recent Emigre from Ukraine so has no credit history. I on the other hand have been driving 40+ plus yrs with no tickets for 30+. What does credit have to do with driving? NONE. They are THIEVES, CHEATS, CHARLATANS. "CARPETBAGGERS"

Titan Insurance Company is a "customer un-friendly company"!!! I was a completely satisfied customer of the now defunct Great Lakes Insurance Company for 12 years. After the death of my husband Jack in 2014, I became the primary breadwinner, bill paying widow and did so on time every month with my insurance company. Then Amerigroup swallowed Great Lakes wholly. I was instantly their customer and while it never offered the same benefits as its predecessor, They kept my policy in about the same range as it had been. Then Amerigroup pulled out of Michigan. The beginning of my woes! I was advised to go with the Titan Insurance and it is a complete nightmare, they have ran me ragged with their demands of one document or another. Cancellation, threats of cancellations and condescending resolution specialists, have filled me up to here. Titan is a cold, callous, and impersonal business. If you want to treated shabbily and your earnest business unappreciated then by all means select this company, but f-y-i don't do it, run as fast as you can to any other insurance agency in the world beside this one. I am in tears at their total indifference and 'oh well" attitude. Titan shame on you! I will let you know how they respond to me after this true review of my experience with this company. I won't go into detail right now, about their abusive, bullying ways, but I know I can't be the only one with a bad taste in their mouth from having sampled Titan Insurance "customer un-friendly ways.

If I could give negative stars I would. I was quoted $199/mo for car insurance. Paid the first two months no problem. I called to make third month payment and it said I owed $629. When I called to see what was going on they said they applied a discount to get me that price and I promised to send them six months prior insurance. I told them to pull the recording Bc that was never in the discussion I sent my last prior insurance but that was never discussed. They said it would take two days to pull the phone recording. Called me back in two wks when the policy expired and said it was their fault they listened to the tape and it was never discussed. They applied the discount illegally and committed fraud promising me insurance at $199. They said they now needed $629 a month! That it was their fault but the discount was denied. Have you ever heard of such a thing ? This is unlawful and the worse insurance company ever. They are illegally applying discounts. I was told it was $199 a month period. Bad way to do business. Beware people watch your invoices Bc they will try to increase your monthly payment. Mine by $400!!! Fraud!!!! Illegal!!!! Bad business!!!

So far I have signed up with Titan before some customer service issues have come up. They claim that they need my sisters proof of insurance because she lives in the same house as me. She was NEVER considered in my policy and I don't know how I feel just giving that information away to any insurance company but her own without any type of claim. Her insurance is none of my business and also none of TItans business as well.
I feel pretty hurt that nobody in customer service could tell me a good explanation. They told me its by LAW, which isn't true because none of my other family members have run into this situation.
Anyway had I known this, I would have stuck with another company and I believe there is a reason they send this to you AFTER you complete your policy.
This issue made my sister, someone I love, feel very uncomfortable and made me feel very embarrassed to even ask. I just wanted to let the company know that.
Unless I receive an explanation and an apology, I will not be renewing my policy with this company.

I have been with this company for 3 months now and every month they have screwed up my payment. It is supposed to be aauto pay on the last day of the month, but they take it out randomly and end up charging me $30 extra every month for various "reasons". !st time it was something about a credit card issue. Nope they input it incorrect. Their fault. Next they claim it was late. How can that be when it is taken out automatically? Last time (I am canceling) they took it out 3 days early so the funds weren't in there. Thats $90 they have stollen from me! DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!!! HORRIBLE!!!!

I had insurance with company for a year. During this time even though I tried repeatedly, I was never allowed to pay the cheaper 6 month premium price. They have different excuses, computers are down, your payment was 2 days late etc.. Always promising to call back when things were in order, and promising that I would still get the discount for paying 6 months at a time. This of course NEVER happened. At one point they even "lost" the check I sent them for the 6 month premium. After receiving letters about cancellation of my policy, I was told they never received the check. Because my payment was late, I was once again forced to pay the more expensive monthly price. I decided to let the policy lapse and go with another company. I then received a letter in the mail charging me for an extra month they decided without my permission to extend my policy. I called to inquire about the charges. I was told I could pay it or they would send it to collections by 2 separate people. This is the worst company I have ever felt with. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!

I really like Titan insurance, but I have two cons with them. They really are not equipped to provide information on services in a rural area. Also, they will not allow changes to the policy, such as adding on towing. Otherwise, just convenient for my current needs and that's all.

I am not sure why there are so many 1 star reviews. I have had Titan for over 5 years and have filed 3 claims. I always got my money very quickly and have never had any billing or claim issues. I have been quoted at almost double the cost at other insurance agencies. Keeping Titan for sure.

When I opened the auto policy I was on the phone with the representative for 90 minutes. I listed all the drivers in the house including my 16-year-old who had a permit. I asked her if he would be charged as a driver and she said no. I asked her a total of three times just to be sure and she insisted he had to be on the policy but would not be charged. She then gave me the monthly premium amount. It was less than most other companies so I decided to go with them. I had to leave a pretty hefty down payment. The first month I was charged what the representative told me. I called recently to make sure the amount had stayed the same and was told that my 16-year-old was being charged as a driver. Regardless of whether this is standard for car insurance I was not told this when I opened the policy. I was told the phone call would be reviewed and there was a possibility if it was their fault I would be given a discount. I was told I would get a phone call back regarding this. I never did. I just got off the phone with them and spoke with Beth in the escalation department and even though she admitted after listening to the phone call that they did give me the wrong information she still refused to lower the premium back down. This is not the only mistake they have made. I was told the representative received feedback regarding her mistake and that was it. Also, I was told that the ID cards are sent out two months at a time. In other words, the first ID cards I received only cover September to November. I am then sent ID cards the cover November to January and so on and so forth. I could go on because it just gets more ridiculous but I can't wait to switch insurance companies.

Your the worse company and I know you go through Nationwide Insurance and I was told that I had to pay a penalty to cancel even though I couldn't afford your ridiculous rates, I'm not paying so you can pound sand, I found a better insurance company with better rates, Please stay away from these people they will rip you off.

I closed a account 5 months ago paid $149 to close the account and they still have it opened ready to send the closed account to the collections... I tried to resolve this 20 times and they don't help at all... Other than that they will ruin your credit. I highly recommend nobody go thru this company they aren't nothing but a headache to deal with...

If you know better, stay away from this company. I ended up with this company against my will through Nationwide. The minute I started, they increased my policy to the point I was paying 170ish bucks for liability alone as a new driver. But thats not the worst part. The worst part is that when I asked if there'd be any fees or addt'l payments when I cancelled, the representative double checked and told me no, yet now I receive a bill for 83.04. I'm so sick of this company. I cancelled with them over two months ago and I'm STILL dealing with them. I had to deal with them for a whole 2 months because their "cash team" was always backlogged and I had another issue regarding a policy refund. There's just been so many issues and they've stressed me out to wits end. NEVER GO WITH THEM. They're actually incredibly sketchy, and most of my friends who have had insurance through them also ended up trying to leave as soon as possible. There are so many better choices. Avoid them like the plague.

They did not give me back my prorated money ,approx $200, when I cancelled my policy, instead they gave a one dollar ninety two cent check. I called and of course they won't do anything to give it back, bullshit!

AFTER 1 MONTH FOUND A MUCH LOWER POLICY WITH STATE FARM. CALLED TITAN TO CXL POLICY. THEY SAID IT WAS CXLD, BUT MY REFUND WOULD TAKE A MONTH. THEY DIDN'T CXL MY POLICY AND CONTINUE TO CHARGE MY DEBIT CARD! THEY WON'T CXL. HAD TO CXL DEBIT CARD!
