cost keeps going up and up and up. I do not like it one bit, I called and got no were.

Need Renters Insurance, May, 2013
I am currently insured on my home with Safeco. My home has been sold and will close on 5-30-2013. I will be renting an apartment until I find a home, but I need renter's insurance before I can move into the apartment.

I was robbed and told it was my fault/ no pay, April, 2015
I was robbed Christmas Eve by a friend of my son and two of his gangster friends. He was seen and admitted it happened. The Roswell police had no concern do the fact he was a minor and the ring leader was in jail for armed home invasion. In the only one on one interview the police did. He changed his story no less than five times according to the police. He claimed my son told him to do it.
Are you serious, this is what the insurance scab part timer went with.
He is suppose to have me believe three hoodlums one armed, were given permission to come to my house and steal items my son already owns.
the agent said my son was seen at the house that day... he lives there.
He said my son profited... yet I did not find 25,000 dollars worth of merchandise on him.
The most horrid company I have ever dealt with.
Safco refused to send adjuster, October, 2016
During heavy rains I found that the garage at the place I recently rented leaked all the stuff I had in there got ruined, Safco said it was from a flood without even looking and said they didn't cover floods, we'll I got a roofing company out there and then sent their statement to Safco showing it was from the roof, they still refused to send an adjuster and told me that even if you can prove that it is a legitimate claim it could take 15 months before we would pay and then they closed my claim again, I am going to keep perusing this claim,but I am definitely looking for a better company after reading all these reviews I can't believe I have been with them this long !

They kept saying sorry we have a very high volume of callers, they never asked my questions. Im very unsatisfied. Aparently they only have one agent took an Hour and they told if I can still waiting or they would call me back with my question.

So it appears that the ongoing theme of this company is that they love YOUR money & will do whatever they can to keep it. I moved from an apartment that required we have renter's Ins., so it's not that i didn't "Want" their service...i merely no longer needed it. It's been a month & a half, and at least 12 calls, and they still can't refund my unused balance. I say can't because they keep claiming that my home address "Does not exist!" Yes, the address that has been confirmed 12 times with them and i get all other mail without issue. They refuse to let me speak to a supervisor. I hated to play this card, but being unemployed & currently disabled still meant nothing to them. I need my money & can't simply write it off. Horrible company & i will do my utmost to destroy them on social media until they at least "Try" to resolve my complaint.

My renters policy lists my apt owners as Additional Interest. Safeco didn't send proof of ins thus my apt charged me $25 to purchase outside insurance for me. Safeco refuses to reimburse me even though they are at fault for not sending the proof of insurance. I have also had to call to have them send my auto proof of ins twice because they didn't send it at the time of renewal. Their customer service lacks much to be desired. I plan to take my business elsewhere.
