Refund, October, 2018
Move out my apartment in January 2018. They are still withdrawing from my bank account. They owe me 9 month of rental payments, Keep calling them every month and they said they will take care of it. still waiting.

I moved out of my apt as I lost my job and was unable to afford a renewal on my apt. I attempted to cancel my policy online but their site is far from user friendly. So I called msi to cancel using someone’s cell phone as I didn’t have one. The operator told me that my policy was indeed canceled. I am still being charged for insurance, and they are attempting to re new my policy without my permission! It took me a while to get the recourses to call them. They provided 0 assistance stating I needed to remember the number of the phone I called on? Are you serious? This company does such a poor job of record keeping. It’s such a horrible excuse for them to drive me further into debt and destroy my credit as I try to pick myself up off my feet and move forward with my life. SHAME ON YOU! how dare you hold a veteran down when all I want to do is move on with my life! If I had any money I’d spend it on a lawyer to take you to court!

This company is horrible. We moved out of our old apartment over a year ago. Never received any notice of renewal from them. Was told the policy was only effective for the duration of our lease. Was even sure to double check that it ended last March. Then 5 days ago I received an email, the first I've gotten in 2 years from them stating they charged my girlfriend 150 dollars for our policy. Sent them proof that we had insurance and they won't accept it because the policy isn't under my name. Sent them proof of our old lease showing us both on it, not acceptable. But no email for 2 years and then charging her card is acceptable. Then they only refunded 8 dollars. This company is a joke. Definitely filling a complaint.

I came across this thread, while trying to figure out why my account was changed for such an old insurance policy. For anyone curious on how to contact them, they come up under "Millennial Specialty Insurance" on Google, and their phone number is 844-788-0873. I called and was on hold for about 15 minutes, but once the phone was answered, they processed my refund no problem. Just leaving this review for anyone having problems figuring out how to get their money back.
Terrible company , February, 2020
I had this renters insurance through my apartment I was renting. I moved and when I received the email for renewal, I replied back to cancel as I was no longer there. The email said to reply or call to cancel. I get my credit card bill and saw that they ignored my cancellation request and still charged me. I had to call them to request to cancel AGAIN. This is terrible customer service. When a client tells you to cancel the policy you honor that request! This is not a company I would ever consider for renters because of this.

They charged me double of what they were supposed to. Website only showed my old cancelled policy, sent an email and never received an answer, no luck getting in contact with them! Would NEVER used them again!
Withdrew money after cancellation, May, 2020
I have no choice but to get a new bank account. Apparently I am not the only victim of this insurance scam. I told them to cancel, but a year later I get another surprise withdrawal. I threw away my file, so I don't even have a website or phone number for them. I can't find them on google using "MSI Renters Insurance" which is all that appears on my bank statement.

Awesome service and great to work with. I recommend changing the way the wording is for the reviews, the way its worded you would think that 1 is the best option but im assuming 5 means best rating. Might be the reason for your bad reviews. My experience was otherwise awesome. I woulf use you guys again if i had to.
