    DON'T EXPECT THEM TO COVER YOU, September, 2018

    If you want a company that will string you along after a hurricane claim and deny, deny, deny, then this is the company for you. Their adjustor makes and inspection on the ground instead of the roof and says it looks fine, when 5 roofers tell you a new roof is needed. Most of the houses around have new roofs but mine. This company is a JOKE!

    Very good service., July, 2017

    We had sewer flood damage. Heritage was called at 12 am. The housing unit had the family in a suite in 30 minutes. An outside company did the water restoration, and were payed by Heritage. Heritage recommended a construction company for a discount on deductible. The construction company was above standard, and the craftsmanship was outstanding. The workers had great patient with my wife. The ins. agent, Jure, stayed in constant contact with us. We were blessed.

    Abusers, July, 2018

    They took me out of Citizen just to screw me up with more than 30% premium increase in 2 years without claims.

    These 5 star reviews look fake to me, September, 2018

    All the 5 star reviews use the same formulaic talking points and verbiage. The 1 star reviews however, echo my experience with Heritage. It is a disreputable company.

    Absolutely awful, March, 2019

    Long story with lots of issues... 5 different adjusters and many lies...

    I had Heritage when Irma hit south Florida. We had significant damage - a 15 foot piece of Palm tree when through our roof. Called Heritage two days after and was told they would have an adjuster out as soon as they could. The first one was scheduled out 7 days later, unfortunately Heritage send him to an address in Pensacola (I am in Naples and have never lived in Pensacola) 10 days later, during the inspection, he handed me his card with $1,500 written on the back. It was a "Quote" for tree removal and said that he could get that plus a little more back form the insurance company if I wanted.

    His estimate, however, was a just under $20K for all the repairs. He did miss a few things - he was 2,000 ft short on the size of the roof, he did not include labor or the materials needed to fix the 15 foot hole, he missed the water damage in 5 rooms from the rain pouring in the hole in the roof, and others.

    After going back and forth with 4 different adjusters and 5 broken promises for a check, I finally had paid out of my pocket $53K for the roof to be repaired in January! We finally were mostly reimbursed for the roof, but Heritage said that the only way they would pay for the "Emergency" water mitigation was if they paid the contractor directly. After numerous phone calls and emails, they finally paid the water mitigation service in June of 2018 - 9 months after Irma!

    I was told the delay was caused by the lack of people to handle the claims. And it comes the year after they paid their CEO $26,000,000! Also, they have no problem paying the top three execs $20,000,000 for compensation for the last two years even if they do not pay the claims to the policy holders.

    I would recommend that anyone stay away from this company if you want to get your claims paid. (Also check out where they have their annual meeting - Hawaii!)

    Denied a very valid claim, January, 2019

    Claim response team was A+, December, 2018

    We had roof damage and a ceiling leak that threatened the flooring we had just installed due to another water issue. Joseph Milch came in assessed the problem and installed fans and dehumidifiers. He came back every day for over a week to measure improvement. He was so friendly while maintaining total professionalism. And when the time came to escalate our problem he didn't hesitate to contact the right people and we got the claim resolved in record time. We know that without Joseph on the case we might still be waiting for repairs. Thanks Joeph and Scott (manager) and Rana Farahi (desk adjuster) and Barry Chillcot (field adjuster) for working together as a team.

    Always "Excellent" Customer Service, April, 2018

    I have had my policy for several years and never had to use a claim until my dishwasher flooded my kitchen and cabinets - James Thompson was assigned as my Project Manager - and throughout the process he continued with communication and the team worked with me to help me on my schedule. They worked very hard to ensure we were satisfied from start to finish - they made the process as simple as possible and were always very professional. Excellent Homeowners Insurance & HCRT did an AWESOME JOB!!! I would highly recommend!!!

    Heritage is the Worse, June, 2017

    God help those who actually have to USE this insurance company. They are quick to TAKE your $ for premiums. But don't ever rely on them if you actually need to file a claim. We are 3 months into the process not a cent yet provided to fix our damaged house. Adjusters don't return calls, emails.

    probably the worst insurance company out there, September, 2017

    Had an insurance claim during Irma and haven't been able to speak to an adjuster.I called Heritages customer service line and hit the claims option. Advised them i've been waiting for an adjuster to call to be chuckled at from the service person on the line. Asked numerous times to speak to a supervisor and was told none was available.Do yourself and your family a favor and go elsewher for your homes insurance needs.

    Horrible Customer Service, July, 2017

    Heritage property homeowners insuracne has got to be the most horrible company I have ever had any business dealings with. The Adjusters are nasty, in denial of a legitimate claim, and are passive aggressive in not responding to legitimate claims. At any moment they would surely deny my claim, and I have been forthright in letting them know i need an update and am requesting them to follow-through with resolving my claim. I'm waiting and waiting for a response after several phone calls to the adjusters and emails there has been no response. I did receive two lettersw not giving specific info about the amount they will be sending me, and then other excuses about mold remediation, etc and the amount of money needed to resolve my two claims. It appers that I will have to file a complaint with the state Dept of Insurance asnd hire an attorney to resolve my damage claim. I would never recommend anyone taking a homeowners policy with Heritage. Be wise - stay away!!!

    Third rate company., May, 2017

    This is the worst company I ever dealt with. Their claim policy is reject, deny, deny until someone responds and then to delay, delay, delay to try to avoid payment of legitimate claims.

    With this out fit you are guilty until proven innocent.

    Pay more and get coverage with a legitimate company.

    very satisfy, December, 2017

    After a few attempts to speak with a person who I have been told would handle my claim, I had the great fortune of being transferred to Mr. Tim Lawrence.

    Mr. Lawrence’s professionalism, knowledge, and kindness made all the difference. He took the time to listen to my concern, and his careful attention to details transformed a frustrating experience into a pleasant one.

    I want to thank Mr. Lawrence and Heritage Insurance for having people like Mr. Tim Lawrence whose customer service skills are excellent, and deserve to be recognized.

    2 month into claim still waiting!!!!!, November, 2017

    Waited over month for adjuster to show up and when contacted she had a attitude. The adjuster contacted me a month afterwards said checks were in the mail and here 3 weeks later still waiting!!!!

    Horrible Claim Respinse, October, 2017

    Filed a claim for lightening loss 2 days before Hurricane Irma. Lost A/C and all electronics. $6,000 out of pocket expenses. 5 weeks after the loss and still being told it hasn't been assigned to adjuster and no one can provide any answers. Save yourself the headaches and go with a major insurance company.

    Better than expected, May, 2018

    I cannot say enough about the professionalism and speed with which my claim was handled. I never had a claim but they walked me thru it easily.

    My Project manager, Joey Magnani was always reachable and all calls were returned promptly.

    What I liked best, aside from the exceptional work done on the repair and remodel was that the workmen came when they said they would be there. I was in the loop always and Joey and Jure made sure I was happy . They made every effort to lessen any inconvenience incurred by the lack of kitchen use.

    I highly recommend Heritage Insurance and my friends are asking me if they too can switch to this customer friendly company.

    Customer Service, October, 2017

    I unfortunately had my first experience having to file a claim in over 30 years, and to make matters worse, I had another claim within a week of my first one! I truly thought this was going to be a nightmare. To my suprise, Heritage was exceptional from the start to finish. They had a response team at our house within 12 hours of reporting the claim. The staff was efficient and knowledgeable. Once the claim was processed, I had a guided help every step of the way. Tim Lawrence was incredibly helpful, following up with us and keeping us informed during the entire process. I've read some of the reviews, and I must say that I would HIGHLY recommend Heritage to all my friends, employees and family. I don't make these type of recommendations lightly, but in this case it is well justified. A company that not only saves you money, but follows up with excellent customer service is a winner in anyone's book.

    They are worse or as bad as any RIP off company ., January, 2019

    They are quick to raise their premiums, and slow to respond to customer claims, and in the end offer nothing. Run from them, they only care for their pockets.

    They should be reported to Better Business Bureau. They are a disgrace to Homeowners.

    Heritage Review, July, 2018

    I would without a doubt highly recommend Heritage Property and Casualty Insurance Co.

    I had recently had a leak issue in my home and found the Project Manager Justin Crist very professional in taking care of all the details.

    Heritage workers were always on time and took exception care in covering all my floors and furniture not to damage anything.

    I would also like to mention Desio and Jonas did a fantastic job following up through out the project especially painting all the

    necessary rooms. My home looked like new when the job was completed..

    Ms. Barb Butler (Client Recovery Specialist) was also very instrumental in organizing and helping me through the process of expediting my job.

    I am very satisfied with the final results..Job well done Heritage...Thank you..

    Exemplary Service!, July, 2018

    A few weeks ago, we had a water leak at our property. Heritage Insurance provided exemplary service. The water mitigation company were dispatched within an hour of us filing our claim. In that time, I received four calls from individuals at the company keeping me abreast of the process. John Duarte was our prenominal project manager. John was professional, accessible, and provided us pictures of the damage and finished process. Texts and telephone calls were returned in a timely manner, which I truly appreciated. We were also assigned Karen Forance. Karen was our Client Recovery Specialist and answered all of my questions. It was great knowing that you’re not speaking to multiple individuals and have an assigned team.

    As out of state landlords, we relied on their expertise to get us through this process, and they did not disappoint. Thanks, Heritage Insurance.

    Service staff is great, February, 2018

    Just a quick note to let you know how much I enjoyed working with James Fitzpatrick.

    There is so much I can say about him that I really don’t know where to start. He has always been very polite and understanding of my situation. He explained things to me in a way that I could understand them. He even talked me through several “Mini Meltdowns” during the process!

    When I got sick because of my exposure to the mold he was very concerned about my health. Even sent me several texts while I was in the hospital and afterwards. The whole time my family and I were displaced from the house he kept me up to date on what was going on.

    The workers on the crews he sent out, Two Rivers, Suncoast Restorations and Dorothy and Junior were all polite, got right to work and did a great job.

    The most important thing to me was the fact that the custom kitchen my late husband & I designed still looks the same. That was my biggest fear and another thing that James talked me through.

    As bad as the situation was, it could have been so much worse and James was a very big part of that. Can I nominate him for employee of the year??

    Almost 6 months and no resolution to claim, July, 2019

    No one returns phone calls, and I get undeliverable email notifications.

    Simple water damage and they tell me the underwriters are still reviewing the policy after 3 months.

    Every time I call I get their voice mail with not a single returned phone call.
