    Worst web portal and customer service , January, 2016

    I've been a Healthy Ct "member for 4 months now an have gotten nothing but aggravation from it! Signed up to pay the bill online. No problem the first month. Second month no payment was made. Logged on an was immediately locked out after I KNOW I put the correct password in! Called an was eventually able to get it unlocked an reset the password. Second month - SAME PROBLEM! keep in mind every time i call i'm either put on hold or told someone will call me back in a couple days. And all calls are during work hours. In December they raise the premium by 30% for no apparent reason. Now I've been trying to make the January payment for the past two weeks an get nowhere. I'm going to mail in the payment an then contact my insurance broker to try fin me any other company to use. I think the premiums are too high, deductibles too high and coerage too low! I ha better coverage for less than half the price from Aetna before i was force intothis crappy insurance plan. Thanks CT!

    Bad for type 1 diabetics, January, 2016

    This insurance company is not helpful to type 1 diabetics. I've had to switch to cheaper insulin which is taking a toll on my blood sugar levels. They do not fully cover lab visits, and will only cover half of insulin pump supplies. I would not recommend any diabetics to be apart of this insurance company. They are by far the worst insurance I have had.

    I Hate it, February, 2016

    Ever since I tried to sign up it has been nothing but problems trying to do anything online. I initially signed up for health care with a monthly automatic withdrawal. Instead I got health care and dental care at a higher price with no automatic withdrawal. Now I'm locked out of my account and customer service is closed at 6 PM. Can't wait to get rid of this company.

    Policy Holder, May, 2016

    Just as greedy and useless as the other carriers which is sad. They had a chance to change the world by offering meaningful, affordable health insurance but they decided to crawl into the same bed they all sleep in. They are not human and the only thing they are good at is collecting premiums and not paying any benefits.

    TERRIBLE company & customer service, September, 2015

    to summarize...DO NOT GET THIS INSURANCE!!!!

    I had nothing but issues when healthyCt 'updated' their computer system and it kicked me out of the autopayment system. Once I realized that, after a month & a half went by, I constantly was calling them every week at least once or twice!!! No one could figure out what happened or why I couldn't log in. This went on for at least 2-3 MONTHS before someone finally was able to help me log into my account because there was so many issues with their new system.

    The lady told me I needed to pay a month premium to keep my insurance going, which i did! And then pay the rest at a later date. Which I also did!

    Then I go to the doctor to find out that my insurance has been TERMINATED but I just paid over $600 to these crooks!! So I call them again, the lady tells me that the lady who helped me into my account should've never taken a payment because my health insurance was already cancelled!!!!

    This is the most dysfunctional & unprofessional business I have EVER dealt with! All the people I spoke with had an attitude and made it seem like it was my fault that they updated their system and I couldn't get in. No one seems to have any training to know what to even do and to top it off just like Danielle said, there is rarely any representative available so they tell you they'll take a message and give you a call back within 48 hours but they NEVER DO!!!!

    The supervisors are just as unprofessional.

    Save yourself some money and go elsewhere!!! I would never recommend this POS company to anyone!!!!

    The health policy is basically worthless, December, 2015

    I have a coverage for my family. My younger son needed some lab work at his pediatrician. The bill? $3,000! The company simply does not negotiate with the providers and takes retail rates as given. It basically works for the providers, not for its members, and then tries to pass the super high rates through deductibles. It's basically fraud.

    They don't pay flu shot, December, 2015

    They refuse to pay annual flu shot at clinic - What else they would refuse to pay? I will Not buy insurance from again _ most other insurance companies pay preventive cares like flu shot

    They are a NIGHTMARE to deal with!, May, 2016

    First I spent 1.5 months debating/arguing/appealing with HealthyCT over why they terminated my last insurance plan without any sort of warning or notice... Then on March 31, I enrolled in a new health plan with a broker who sent me an email confirming a MAY 1st Start Date. This was a slight inconvenience but I got by for a month without insurance coverage. Then on April 25th, I received my new insurance cards and 2 invoices; one invoice for March and April coverage, and another invoice for May coverage. How is this company still in business? They are total crooks!!!! I rate them one star on each category only because I can't put -500!
