    Lack of response to inquiries., November, 2016

    The customer service is not good. They fail to respond to questions regarding claims, drug costs and billing issues. They could not seem to figure out that my husband and I each have a policy. I paid both, with separate checks and coupons, and they credited my account with his payment and cancelled his coverage. I called several times and they said they corrected this but never did. I've asked other questions but they don't get back to me. Very poor customer service.

    dishonest company, December, 2015

    My son is special needs and needed coverage for lots of therapies and special schools. HealthNet was one of the few to cover these costs. Everything was fine until they called yesterday to say that we missed the open enrollment period by one day; and what would we like to do! They said we could enroll but would be 6 weeks with no coverage! We were on the phone for 6 hours (3 hours per day for two days) with no resolution. They said they sent a letter 6 months ago letting us know! Unbelievable!

    Health Review, November, 2014

    This insurance is the best insurance to have when your in need like my Fiance was. He just retired from his job of 13 years and couldn't afford the health insurance on his retirement. We called around and finally got on the Internet and found Health Net. What a life saver. It worth looking into. Thanks a lot Health Net.

    Awful. If it is the cheapest, go w/ next cheapest!, July, 2016

    This is quite possibly the worst company in America. The benefits are terrible. The customer service is terrible and you can't trust this company. You have to repeatedly call and check up on the last customer service rep you talked to to make sure they actually did what they said they were going to do on the call. I called once and they "fixed" a problem. I called back again and discovered that was a lie... after 2 reps and 3 supervisors, my problem was finally fixed. They don't care. They are awful. Don't choose them.

    Lied about coverage, May, 2016

    I called HealthNet twice to make sure I was covered until the end of the quarter since we had paid for it when we signed up. One month later I went to the doctor and they said I had not been covered at all. I was very clear with them that I needed to be covered throughout May and she assured me I was... Lied to me. I would not reccomend them to anyone.

    Aweful customer service, April, 2016

    Actual healthcare is good the problem arises if you need customer service. They seem to outsource a lot of their customer service to other countries because I have only once spoken to a person without a strong accent that I was able to easily understand who seemed understand. They are not able to answer most basic questions, they give conflicting information, and when they inevitably have to look into the issue and ask to call you back they never leave a phone number or extension for a return call when they leave you a message so you are left having to explain the whole issue to someone else who has no idea what you’re talking about. Very frustrating!

    TERRIBLE INSURANCE, March, 2016

    They made so mistakes and tried overcharging me many times. They also told me my account was cancelled so I got new insurance, months later they sent me a bill that they never cancelled me. SKETCH COMPANY!

    Actually it's Tricare, November, 2015

    I'm not sure if this is the same company, I'm insured by Tricare Young Adult. It's great coverage, if you can find a participating physician.

    We were very happy with Health Net. The only reason we are looking is because we heard the individual rates should be better than the group rate which is what we have now.

    health net provides extremely poor service, May, 2018

    Health net provide very poor services. they constantly makes lots of error on my claims and difficult for me and my doctors office to handle. and it is affecting my on going doctors visit, procedure and treatment. Using health net has reduced quality of my medical care. They even call me and my doctors to demand more of my medical records which no other insurance had done before. It makes my doctor felt burdensome and don't want to see me. I can not believe this is the way they do business. We need health care reform to bring more competitions.

    Poor service, poor internal systems., April, 2018

    Very difficult to work with even with routine requests. Their customer service team reads 'scripts' and often it seems they're not always sure what they're saying. They're all friendly, but not empowered to help. Long holds, multiple steps and long processes to get a justified claim reviewed. Follow ups take a long time too (since you're never assigned the same person twice so whoever you get has to read all the notes from the previous person). Or, if you're lucky enough to get a first name and an initial for a follow up with the same person, then you can be on hold for 30 minutes while they try to find that person since depending on what time of day you call, you could be in anywhere in the world. Very disorganized and inefficient system!

    free MediCal Drs list for my $, May, 2016

    I'm 28, I stopped having insurance through my moms insurance through her job at the age of 26. I really didn't care for health insurance, but because my penalty for not having insurance was going to be close to 1k, i had no other choice. I tried getting the same plan, &health group as I had through my previous insurance, & I couldn't get my old dr (my dr since I was in elementary school), & no optometrist (apparently this insurance plan only covers kids). ALSO, I have no drs near me, I am not driving 7...something miles for a dr. This insurance is a joke! I was better off paying the stupid penalty for no insurance. BTW their list of "membered dr's" is pretty much the same as the dr's for MediCal drs..... Same drs some ppl get for free, while i'm stuck paying this monthly.

    Actual, outright legal definition of FRAUD. Charged credit card and then kept money hostage for over a month while REFUSING to say whether application was accepted or not!
