Great coverage and service, December, 2017
No complaints overall. Great customer service and claims payment received 1 week after reporting the damage. I would recommend to friends.

Rude , February, 2016
On the two occasions I have had to deal with them they have been rude and evasive. I realize they want to protect themselves from fraud... However, for those of us who work hard, play fair and pay for decades and then finally need assistance it is disheartening. I would NEVER recommend them.
Settlement not reasonable, treatment rude, October, 2015
We incurred extensive water damage from a dishonest contractor. Florida Family's settlement is far, far less than our costs. The adjustor is abrupt to the point of being rude. To its credit, the company has offered arbitration. Still, I feel it should not be necessary.

They can out to my house and entered my property with out my permission and saw I had some protection on my roof, I was getting ready to have a new roof put on. They gave me a dead line that I could not meet. Got it done 2 weeks after there dead line. They wouldn't work with me. They just cancelled me.
Very bad customer service, February, 2018
They are very rude on the phone. Going to find another company. They don't know anything about costumer service. They argue,not helping.
Letdown after Irma, October, 2017
Adjuster spent all of 10 minutes reviewing storm damage, and complained about his workload the whole time.
And then of course came the old "we're not going to cover anything because we're slimy dirtbags and we'll parse the language to differentiate from 'windstorm' and 'hurricane'" routine.
want to cancel my policy, March, 2019
We had a flood from above unit. Florida Family paid the repairs quickly. They then asked for assurance the place was done which I faxed invoices for. Then that asked for more assurance the ceiling, kitchen and master bath were completed. I has our maintenance guy gain access from my renters and he took finished pictures. The insurance rep said "great" that should do it last December. I just got a cancellation letter (out of the blue)since I hadn't provided proof they were cancelling my policy.
