    Delays, rude, unethical service, January, 2016

    Please share this with the team who reviews Farm Family Insurance. While they offer good packages for horse farms, and while they gave us great service following damage from Hurricane Sandy (when they used professional adjusters) they have completely fallen down since then on customer service and support.

    We have been waiting since last March - nearly a year - for them to fully settle a claim, and so have had an open kitchen ceiling and wall for 10 months.

    They have used an "estimator" who consistently contracts work for their claims and who has lied. They engaged a furniture restorer to see if we needed new or refurbished cabinetry following our flood. Of course, to a restorer everything is refinishable - however we did not purchase insurance to have damage "refurbished."

    Their claims manager Wayne Woerner yells at us and talks over us. Their VP of support Patricia King has been no help while we repeatedly have requested a change in claims manager and estimator.

    We have had to engage a third party adjuster and have been blocked and delayed by Farm Family. We have had to leave the damage open in case they need to come back in and expect the damage.

    We have had mild weather in the east coast this winter - until last night when temperatures went into the single digits. This morning our kitchen is frigid from the openings, we have been unable to insulate and close the space and so are in danger of additional damage.

    I respectfully submit that your insurance reviews should include customer satisfaction and in this case obviously I would give them a terrible review and recommend that family farms such as ours look elsewhere as Farm Family Insurance is not concerned about its customers.

    Farm Family Treats Clients Poorly, April, 2016

    Recent claim was poorly handled and I received little if any assistance from my Agent.. Had to involve an Adjuster who eventually filed a complaint with NJDOBI for mishandling and not fulfilling coverage with proper calculations.

    Eventually Dropped policy- FF tried to impose a penalty charge...Agents refused to assist in a resolution...I brought the case to NJDOBI and i ((WON ! )) Farm Family does not protect nor treat their clients with respect. Rates more than doubled after a minor claim. I WOULD STRONGLY ADVISE TO STAY AWAY FROM FF.

    Farm Family is full of manure, November, 2016

    SO SORRY I'M INSURED BY THEM.Raised my policy without warning or cause and sent me a bill 3 times what I expected to pay and can't afford.. They are only about the money.

    Cancelled policy after one small claim in 20 years, May, 2016

    We had used Farm Family for our family farm in NYS for 20 years without a single claim. After a claim against us in 2015 that FF was legally not obligated to pay, FF cancelled our policy because of the "unacceptable condition of premises", which had been damage from a broken limb from one of our trees overhanging a neighbor's mobile home. Even after we completely removed all six trees in the vicinity of that mobile home, FF still refused to reinstate our policy. After doing business with FF for so many years, I can no longer recommend them for liability coverage for any kind of Agribusiness.

    The WORST by Far, December, 2017

    This is by far the worst insurance company ever. They are rude. Their customer service is horrendous and non-existent. Their agents don't do anything and are lazy. The worst part about it is that they do not care either. It's "actually" the customers fault with these people. We got dropped because our agent was lazy and useless and put in wrong information for the underwriting process. I'm glad though because I'm pulling all of my insurance with this horribly run company. I will find a company that actually cares about my business. Be ware. This company is really bad.

    No Customer Service, December, 2016

    We have been ensured with FF for well over 10 years now. We have a sizable life ins. policy, homeowners/farm, equine liability ins., and auto package. We have been completely unable to get our agent on the phone. She simply won't return calls. We had one minor claim on auto ins. recently--husband tapped a bumper (his fault), and our ins. DOUBLED with no warning whatsoever. Called the office. Was told she'd get right back to me. That was six weeks ago. This is par for the course for this office. We shopped around and are saving close to $2,000 a year with a new company on premiums for the whole package. I don't expect they'll even call us to find out what went wrong.

    Bad service , May, 2017

    They denied a claim that should have been paid. Agent and manager were no help. Other carriers were much less for better coverage.

    Best Customer service around. Found a great place for all my insuring needs. Their Palladium 5yr annuity is at 3.65% effective yield return which is about 3.60% more than I get from my CD bank acct.

    Terrible support and communication, November, 2017

    I changed to Farm Family to obtain business insurance for my hobby business, that was not available through Amica.

    Thank goodness we never had to file a claim with Farm Family, because Judging from just normal interaction with the agency, it would be a terrible experience.

    My renewal arrived 6 weeks ago and I discovered the house I sold a year ago was still on the account (I did submit paperwork to cancel the house I closed on). Called the rep and was told it was listed as rented. Then I was told it wasn't. I requested the overpaid premium be returned and not credited.

    Not only did they credit the new year's policy, they still took out the first payment of the policy year. Speaking with the local office rep is frustrating and not helpful. I cancelled my policy and

    I asked for a detailed breakdown of what the refund would be and how it was determined. Received print out of policy statement, multiple pages and not understandable. Still no refund. Called rep, asked for breakdown, again. She couldn't explain anything. Asked me if I check my account to see if refund had come in. Yes, I was looking at it when I called.

    Requested a call back with date when refund will be in my account, and an audit of how this number is determined. I am more than disappointed with this company. They make customer feel as if they are an interruption when I call. Tone is unfriendly. Thank goodness I never had to make a claim with this company, because I am guessing it would be a terrible experience. Happy to be back with Amica.

    We were way underinsured for what we had We had a $125,000 on barn and $35,000 on content

    We had a total loss of our barn and all content

    They came back and said the nbrs were not adding up for the barn and weren't going to pay off on barn After I bristled up they finally paid full on barn We only have received $10,000 to date for our tools to date I just purchased 4 pieces that were $10,000 I sent Four pages of tools and had to dig through rubble to prove we had

    They gave me a false sense of security I would not recommend Adjuster just blames agents
