Awful Service, November, 2016
I have never been asked to submit so much personal information just to insure a couple cars. They even want personal information on family members outside of our home. Ridiculous.
Countryway refuses to cover damages., March, 2018
Had to file a claim after a pipe burst in my finished basement. Adjuster tried to low ball the claim, saying there was less damage than actually occurred, and it took five days for adjuster to arrive. Legally, the omeowner is permitted to contact a remodeler immediately after damage happens. The damage remodeler is to complete the emergency mitigation/demolition to the extent they determine to be necessary. Do not wait for the adjuster because he will try to direct the remodelers to do less work than is needed to bring the home back to equal or better condition than before the building was damaged.

Have farm policy for over 20 years never had a claim. Barn well was hit by lighting was told they only cover well at the house not the barn.Hello this is a FARM POLICY . Looking for a new insurance company ,who might appreciate a client that never turn in a claim. Stay far away from this company.

Had a fire 6 months ago.. their investigator found it to be accidental. this is a large claim... However they are trying their hardest trying not to pay.customer service has been rude,up to including hanging up on me..( I was polite too)I guess in life its true u get what u pay for... great policy but what appears to be a terrible company...read other articles..search run run far away from countryway

Worst customer support ever. Have replacemnt cost coverage but hassled over timeline for rebuild remodle, contents timeline for replacement and loss of use. Soon after filing claim they cancelled my coverage. Have had to seek legal assistance on the claim

I never had to file a claim. Customer Service is courteous and helpful with payment methods since I am not very good with computers or modern technology. Good coverage at lower rates than most insurance companies.

My agent has been with this company over 30 years and highly recommended them, and I have been very stisfied. Claim settlement was prompt and fair. Small company, hometown feel. People all very friendly and eager to help.

Customer service is rude from the beginning. Policy for two sedan, well-equipped vehicles with two drivers with perfect records is $200. Bye!
