Difficult, price gougers, August, 2017
We were transferred to Bristol West as 21st Century stopped writing auto policies in our state.
It was easy as pie to continue our coverage, altho they jacked up our rates for slightly less coverage, and charged a $10 fee for us paying monthly. We kept the coverage for 2 months while shopping for an additional policy which would provide home/auto coverage since we were previously bundled and would now be missing that discount.
Bristol West made it extremely difficult to cancel our policy, which required multiple phone calls (because each phone call resulted in a something not being disclosed or done incorrectly) emails, and finally, a blank photo of my signature, which is concerning since it could technically be used for anything.
After our policy cancelled, I got another bill, for canceling the policy, which is a policy charge. They told me it was on my declarations page (it's not) and when I asked for an explanation of what it is, they can't explain it. First they say it's pro-rated, then they say it's a leftover balance. Yet nowhere in my paperwork does it show this charge.
Glad we switched to a different carrier. I've never had such difficulty with an insurer before.

Awful in handling the other person who was not at fault. Will not help or return phone calls for a month straight!! I got hit by a person insured with them (also known as Foremost). They barely helped me. The guy who was helping left. They gave me a new person and he has not been in contact with me for a month. I am currently looking for a lawyer. WORST INSURANCE COMPANY I HAVE EVER HAD TO DEAL WITH!

They will quietly stick it to you after the 1st 6 months. Total greedy scam!

Fraud! Terrible Customer Service. , September, 2018
Absolutely horrible customer service. Charge a relatives credit card without permission, would not issue a refund. Cancelled our policy after they issued the refund. Make sure to NEVER work with Scott... lied over and over about having permission to charge my relatives Credit Card. Refused to help the situation, cancelled our policy because we wanted to make payments instead of paying all at once. FRAUD!!!!!
