    VERY POOR OUT-SOURCED CLAIMS SERVICE, October, 2017

    I have AEGIS for accident for my independent contracter job. I tore my mensiscus in June 2017 due to a fall. The Customer service reps need more training and need to learn empathy. Their claims processing is slower than a snail so if you are hoping to pay your mortgage or be able to buy groceries don't count on this money. They need to get with this century and offer EFT deposit into checking or savings as I was stuck waiting a week for the claims check to arrive from Florida. Overall if I was choosing the policy I would NEVER go with Aegis as they outsource there claims processing and

    Aegis Security Insurance is the BEST!, November, 2016

    When I tried to pay my monthly premium online it wouldn't let me and said call this toll free number, I thought uh oh whats going on, so I called the number and the girl said your premium is paid up, and you don't have another payment until the first of the year, that's why you couldn't pay anything online so your good, I said cool, then she said your policy has been renewed and your premium went down, your monthly payment will be $10.00 less a month now, I said AWESOME! Who does that? What a great Insurance Company, while other Insurance Companies raise your premium every year, Aegis lowers it! Their the best!

    Not coverin roof above family., September, 2018

    Been payiny since 2007. Last year I made a claim after a hail storm and next rain showed leaks and it took an extra 2 weeks before their person came and looked at my roof. He said normal wear and tear but he suggested I wait till next good hail storm to file the claim (fishy talk). I repaired what he suggested and it was another year before the hail came and more leaks appeared. I asked the company to send someone different and explained yet they sent the same guy. This time he appeared to have an attitude and then filed it as normal wear and tear even with obvious bebee sized holes, dent on only metal flashing, and less damage to roof where tree coverage protected it. Paperwork came back dening any home roof protectio but covered 30 percent on another roof building that is way older. How do they cover 30% of a roof that is probably 30 years old and not on the home from 2002? And how dare their guy tell me to wait till next hail storm in the first place. I'm a Disabled Veteran of the U.S. Army and this company appears to be lacking intergrity. My wife filed again after another hail storm now where golf ball sized hail struck our roof. They sent a different guy who seemed to agree about hail and they sent him back to take more photos and now its been another 2 weeks. Summer is coming to an end and still no solution. I would think with the money we payed in for the insurance already would be more than twice what the actual cost to replace the shingles are. And before the hail that started the leaks we had never put in for a claim.
