21st Century insurance is a wholly owned subsidiary of AIG insurance. The company was originally founded in 1958, and AIG announced in May of 2007 that it intended to purchase the company. The company specializes in special insurance, including motorcycles and high risk drivers, and reportedly insures more than 1.5 million vehicles.

Excellent value/cost ratio, excellent service, January, 2012
- excellent pricing: quotes from other insurers during past three-four years have been always 50-100% higher including all possible discounts and membership benefits
- excellent service: choice of billing, payment, documentation options - everything you can find nowadays (paper, electronic, online, bank account, credit card, etc.), personal online library containing all downloadable documents (from bills and policy statements to registration cards)
- excellent customer service: newsletters, prompt and professional replies from the representatives
- none after almost five years of being a customer

As long as your paying it's all good , I never had a accident before and I'm over 40, the ins was reasonable. But when I had a small fender bender they where to quick to almost triple my premium. Would recommend that you search elsewhere, I'm am now with usaa and am very pleased , plus just in case usaa has accident forgiveness.
Stolen vehicle review, August, 2016
Our car was stolen on the 24th of July. It is now the 25th of August, and we still don't have a settled claim. Not only do we not have a settled claim, but our adjuster is thousands of miles away, will not return our calls, and they canceled the rental car on the 11th. The only way we knew it was canceled was the rental place called on the 24th of August asking if we were ever going to bring the car back. You get what you pay for, and in the case of 21st Century, you're not getting much.

Dealing with customer service has been a delight. Great response time and knowledge. Their cost for coverage far surpasses other companies I'd been approched by with their specials.

It was a wonderfull response to my accident with a dear, and there servive was on top of everthing including rental car when I arrived at the auto body shop.

Up...up...up and out of sight premiums.
Someone ran a light hit our car, we both had Farmers they would'nt pay the claim.
Every year it's about six hundred dollars more.
I'm looking elsewhere.

No two customer service representatives had the same answer for an ERROR THEY MADE. Charged me to clear it up.

Started my policy with 21st Century in 2010. My husband was in an accident in July of 2012. The officers at the scene said both drivers were at fault but for some reason 21st decided to go ahead and pay the claim, Of coarse our premiums went up. Then we were in a accident in May of 2013 which was absolutely not our fault and was even on video. We then received a letter from the state saying they had not received our proof of insurance for our company. We called them and they called us back saying they took care of this. They did not and my husbands license was suspended. Then they sent us a notice cancelling us because of the accident that happened more than a year ago.

I like the price and service from 21st Century Auto Insurance. They provide good coverage at a reasonable cost. The cost was made even better by adding in numerous safe-driver discounts and others. I have not had a claim with them and I hope not to need these services since I am an excellent driver but there are a lot of other drivers who are not as careful. I can rest well knowing 21st Century is with me.

Everytime I call here for customer support I am greeted by a young sexy sounding lady that is just a joy to deal with. My problems are quickly resolved and the rates are very good. Cheapest I have found in fact.

DON'T get 21st. They are aweful. They do a lot of double talk, They tried to cancel my policy without telling me, the kicker is that it was their fault and tried to get more money from me! I tried calling them to ask about this cancellation. Vanessa ID # 30850 (if you ever get her just ask for a manager) She will cut you off when she asked a question, disgusting tone she had with me, I told her to stop cutting me off and she just continued to be rude. She didn't listen to a single thing i said. Then tried to blame it on me. I told her to connect me to her boss the manager in charge. She say fine with an attitude and when I was speaking saying thank you she switches me off. She transfers me to team leader Adam, not the manager in charge. She needs to NEVER work with people again. Will not be staying with them.

cost went up 3 years ago after a no fault accident.not my fault no damage only my car.turn off the road to avoid accident, on the grassy area I drove on to avoid hitting the car stopped in front of me I struck a sign pole with no sign on it. the other car left not involved in accident.waited for a cop never came I drove home, no one hurt no damage to other car he stayed on road.
