Is there any cash value on a hospital indemnity plan?

Hospital indemnity plans will pay you while you are being hospitalized but unless specifically stated, do not offer other cash benefits. If you were to cancel your policy, you may be eligible to receive refund for any unused balance from the premiums you've paid, but there would not be any specific cash value to the policy like there is with whole life insurance policies.
