USAA is a company meant to protect the finances the men and women who fight for our country and their families. They offer items such as insurance, banking, and credit cards. Originally, this insurance was only meant for commissioned officers. They opened up the doors to all other members of the military in the 90s. Now, they also offer aide for families of people in the military.

Does this include adult stepchildren?
Yes! As long as their parent or stepparent has had a USAA product before, they also qualify for coverage with USAA. The child does not need to be legally adopted by the stepparent as an adult to receive the benefits, either. USAA understands that many times adult children do not get adopted by their stepparent.

Why would someone want to be a member of USAA?
Full members of USAA receive substantial discounts on their insurance. They also get access to specialized banking and credit cards with incredible rates.
