Whether or not you are eligible for USAA membership depends on a few factors. USAA membership is generally available to active duty, retired, and honorably separated officers and enlisted personnel of the U.S. military, as well as their eligible family members. If your father was a member of the U.S. military and did not have USAA membership, you may still be eligible for membership if you are his eligible family member. Eligible family members include spouses, widows, widowers, and children of USAA members who have or had a USAA auto or property insurance policy. To determine your eligibility, you can visit the USAA website or contact their membership services department directly. They will be able to provide you with more information about eligibility requirements and help you determine if you are eligible for membership.
