To answer your question, we must first look at the policy his parents have. First of all, your grandson must be at least 25 years old or more. If this criteria is met, than your grandson should be allowed to drive your car without any issues.

Secondly, as mentioned before, we have to take a look at the insurance policy already in place. There might be a provision that doesn't allow this to happen. Some policies will ask you to include his name on your paperwork. Some policies will ask you to provide detailed information as to the extent of the driving time. You might have to give out information as to whether or not he plans to stay with your for a period of time.

It all depends on the original policy that is set forth. In most cases, it's best to ask the agent who is helping out with the coverage. He or she will have a more definitive answer as to whether or not it's possible.
