satisfied but autorenewal when prices raised was frustrating
I used this agent because I had a coworker that was working for him part time. I received a discount and started with renters insurance when I moved. I later added car and life insurance policies. The renters and car insuranced raised and I lost the discount when my acquaintance no longer worked there. I lowered my car insurance payments by a lot when I left and moved my renters as well because it added another discount to my car policy. I do still have a life insurance policy for my husband with this agent. This agent is personable and friendly. If his auto rates were competitive I would still have all of my policies with him. I also like the location of his office and his office is nice but not over the top.

Service with this agent has been very good.
I appreciate that this agent keeps track of my overall Homeowners coverage and makes recommendations on the differences in policies. Matt took the time to provide me with a clear explanation with the pros and cons in coverage. He also took time to go over deductible costs and the impact this would have on my yearly rate. I didn’t always add the extra coverages Matt recommended but I did appreciate getting that information. While Matt is trying to sell the product, he never said that I made a wrong choice if I declined a particular coverage. Matt’s office has called me to let me know when a payment had not been received for a particular policy. I appreciated this call to let me know and they offered to take care of the payment over the phone. Great customer service by the entire agency1″

I was pleased with the price but I was put off by the hard sell
I went with State Farm because I got a quote online and they referred me to Matt. I was very pleased with the price for both car and rental added together, so that was the most important factor in my decision. However when I got there to sign up, they tried to push life insurance on me. I have no kids or heirs and I didn’t feel that I needed life insurance, but they were very pushy and a hard sell about it. I ended up signing up for it, but I cancelled the next day when I thought better of it. I was also put off that when I asked them for a car loan, they wanted to give me one at 8% interest, which I thought was very high. I ended up getting one through a credit union for 5% interest.
