This agent is always friendly and goes out of his way to take care of his clients. When my father passed away and we had to have all of the insurance paperwork changed, he was able to get everything updated in a timely manner. It was obvious that he genuinely cared about my family and was effected by our loss. When it came to getting my new car, he walked me through the process of choosing the right insurance for my needs and explained the pros and cons of different insurance types. This agent has provided insurance for my entire family at one time or another, and has always pointed us in the right direction, as far as what was needed and most beneficial to us. This agent is excellent at providing customer service and I will continue to do business with him.
Walking into the offices of Darrel (and his wife Carol) Walker is like walking into a home of family. They are the warmest, kindest business people that I have had the pleasure of working with in 34 years. When you first walk in, there are cookies and beverage offerings in a well-furnished lobby. Their receptionist is warm and kind, as are the other agents who work for them.
As for Darrel himself, he is a gentle, generous man. Whenever my wife and I have to go into the office, if we have our youngest daughter, who is 10, in tow, he always busts out a dollar and gives it to her. He must do this a lot, because he always has a fistful of dollars on him. He is always quick to remember who we are; we definitely do not feel like a number when we go in to his office.
The times that we have had to file claims for both our vehicle and home have been a breeze. His office makes everything as painless as possible, which is why we have been going through them for the past 18 years. He is very highly recommended and I have referred a lot of people to him over the years as a result.
