1. It’s been a mess for weeks trying to get a in touch with this agent. I’ve been trying to switch insurance agencies for awhile, but this guy won’t call my husband or I back. I finally got him to cancel the motorcycle insurance policy we had, and a week later I was still charged for it. I was then only issued a partial refund even though I had cancelled the policy a week before the renewal. Since it’s only $5, its not even worth attempting to deal with them. I know that for our car policy, Esurance is $70 a month cheaper, and I’ve been trying to switch to that for 2 weeks now. But Jeff just will not return phone calls and the 1-800 number doesn’t allow me to cancel it. When we were cancelling the motorcycle policy, he started texting and emailing my husband calling him Bill. My husbands name is William, but no one has ever called him Bill. I find it completely bizarre and unprofessional to just make up nicknames for your clients and start calling them that. If I can’t figure out how to get him tocancel the car insurance in the next few days, I’m going to call Allstate and ask to file a complaint. I signed on for a 6 month policy, not an indefinite one that I’m forced to keep because this man is never in his office.
