Poor - she let my policy lapse twice and didnt notify me.
Once when I was cancelled, I went to her and she said point blank, I cant do anything for you and I was without coverage for several months until I started working with another agent in the company. She is slow to return calls. Basically I selected them because they were near my house. I went an entire year without flood insurancce because they neglected to notify me. When I first started going there they wer pretty responsive, returning calls promptly and they seemed to shop for the best price. I can say that I have never had a situation where they low-balled me and later received a notce from the insurance company that I owed additional premiums. That’s about the only thing I can say thats positive. As time went by the customer service goy worse and worse. It is to the point now that I hate to call them and I put it off until the last minute when I do have to call them. For the past year I’ve been speaking to a clerk at the office (Marta or something like that), but she seems to give me better customer service than the agents do. It appears that the company possibly experienced growth and havent kept up with staffing requirements that comes with a growing business. Hopefully I will only need to contact them once every severalyears, because its not something I look forward to doing. Maybe I should try and stay positive and assume that next time I have to interact with them, they will knock my socks off with EXCELLENT CUSTOMER SERVIVE, probably NOT.
