Every since meeting Darla and getting a homeowners policy with her through Statefarm I’ve had nothing but good things to say about her. She contacts me every now and then to make sure I don’t need anything or if she has any lower rates, and that’s almost unheard of for an agent to have that type of customer service. I’ve inquired about bundling an auto policy too but I’m better off staying with the company I have now, but no fault of hers. Any time any of my friends are talking about any type of insurance I recommend Darla to them because I know they would have a great experience and more than likely, in most cases will save themselves some money if they just take the time to switch over to Statefarm.
I have never personally met this agent; everything has been handled by people in her office. The first claim I made, they got me confused with another family member in another state who is not a client of hers but is a State Farm policy holder. This made paperwork a nightmare. When my car got stolen, I never heard from anyone in her office, despite it taking place less than a block away. Instead I was told to call the hot line, and work on my claim there. I have been a client for 5 years, and have only gotten one phone call from her office to discuss updating my policy. When realized I missed the meeting, I never heard back from the office. That was over one year ago. State Farm did a good job of handling my claim, but I’m not sure why I have an agent.
