When we first talked with Greg Ladendorf, we liked him. He has a great personality, easy to get to know and we felt like we could trust him. Trust means a lot with your insurance agent – especially when you have a claim. Not the car we have now, but when we had a brand new Nissan Altima for just a month or so, we were heading home after shopping. It was dusk, lots of rush-hour traffic when my husband saw a deer in the gulley between the traffic lanes. He said, I hope to hell he doesn’t come up into traffic”. About as soon as he said that, the deer hit the driver side of the front of our car and it swung him back against the door. We did not stop or we would have caused a very bad accident as cars were going 60 or so. We drove back to Pekin where we live and where our agent’s office is located. We went in and told him what happened. He came out to see our car and did a report right away. Our car was repaired within one and a half weeks. Very quick service and we were very happy with the repair work they did. We have been with Greg Ladendorf for twenty plus years now and he has always been quite helpful to us when we have a concern. When someone asked us for an agent referral, we always say Greg Ladendorf.
We have had insurance with State Farm with Greg Ladendorf as our agent for more than twenty years. For quite a few years, we have been very happy with Greg, his office and the service we receive there. In the past five to six years or so, the service is not so good. It seems that each time we need to go to his office, there is someone new at the front desk. Some of the times the lady at the front desk can not answer our question and tells us that she will check with Greg, but she never gets back to us. I wait a couple days and contact them. They either can’t see where we had asked for any information, or say they haven’t found out anything yet. Also, a few times in the past, they have given us the wrong information. We would like to find a different insurance company, but can’t find any with cheaper rates and we already pay way too much.
