When we bought a house, all I had to do was give them the address and the wind mitigation/four point inspection. They were able to get a quote back for me in an incredibly short amount of time. They gave me one at first and said it was the best that was available. I asked for copies of the top three quotes and ultimately ended up going with their suggestion.
Once they had everything, they sent a quick form for me to fill out that requested all of the information they would need to bind the insurance policy. Once that was done they sent me the application to look through and sign. Everything looked great and I sent it back.
UPC came and inspected the property and everything ran relatively smoothly. I received my dec page in the mail and haven’t been bothered about anything else since. I imagine I’ll receive my renewal next year, take a look through, and then won’t hear from them again until the next. Fingers crossed.
