1. I have not been very impressed with Noble Reynolds Insurance Agency over the last several years. I never hear from them! I would appreciate a call or letter from them once in a while (once a year maybe?) to let me know that they are still doing the best they can for me and are shopping the best policies for me that would make the most sense for my location, age, homeowner status, etc. But I do not hear from them at all. In recent years I have heard from them only when something has changed with my insurance carrier and they absolutely had to contact me. They contacted me via snail mail, which was fine, but I would have also appreciated a phone call. I feel that an independent insurance agent should call you periodically to find out if you need additional coverage, to find out if you need help with anything, etc. There were just two agents in that small office that I dealt with and I am not sure if they are still there or not. I also mentioned to one of them (about two years ago) that I felt that our house had damage and she snippily said to me Did you see the damage yourself or did a contractor tell you that?” – like we are not capable of seeing the damage ourselves – and also possibly implying that a contractor would try to talk me into a false insurance claim. It does not matter why I think I have a claim – I think I have a claim and that is all she needs to know! These are the reasons why I am looking for a new insurance agent. Poor customer service and what I feel is a lack of them being on my side.
