We just moved to Kentucky a few months ago and had to find new insurance because of it. My fiances grandparents go through StateFarm and said that they were great so we decided to check them out. Phil was very helpful and the entire process of signing up was quite easy. There were even some things here in KY that we were not use to and Phil took the extra time to explain even though it was related to vehicle registration and not insurance. We did look into renters insurance but since we just moved here with nothing it is not something that we were in the market for just yet but when we decide that we need to get renters we will be contacting Phil for that as well.
McDonald Insurance has been positive because of their friendly customer service and the ease with which I can talk to them. For example, when I had a change of address, the agent took time to locate all of the possible he discounts that he could for the policy which saved me quite a bit of money. Furthermore, they walked me through what would be covered on my policy and helped me to understand when it would be beneficial to file a claim and when it would not be beneficial. They also clearly explained the terms of the policy and the nature as to what can be covered by a renter’s policy. In addition to this, this agent sends birthday cards and Christmas cards to policy holders, which is a nice personal touch.
