My family has always used State Farm so when I took over my car insurance, I stayed with State Farm. Jay Littlejohn was the neighborhood agent. Everything was easy to set up, but over the years I have never felt appreciated and for some reason they never call or email when it’s time for a renewal. They call only when they are about to cancel the policy–why not call me a month before? I requested a courtesy call or email, and they still don’t call until the day it cancels at midnight. Again, everyone in the office is nice, it’s just a very impersonal experience. I could get lower prices elsewhere and, I assume, better service. They never reviewed options, never talked about potential discounts, never did anything to win or keep my business. They are there if I call, but most people would be.
