I shopped around for insurance last Spring as I had previously signed up with Nationwide and had an ok, but not great experience. The process with Nationwide seemed cumbersome, bureaucratic, and a little bit more expense potentially. I found Capitol Benefits through Yelp, saw it’s five star reviews, and asked for a quote. Joshua got back to me very quickly with a quote which was cheaper than what I was paying at Nationwide. I decided to increase my benefits a little so that the amount I would pay would be slightly more, but I would be better insured. This was quick.
Joshua made the process of switching from Nationwide to Capitol Benefits very painless. It took scanning and emailing just a few documents, and no phone calls whatsoever (versus Nationwide which had a strange online portal which only seemed to half work, and required multiple phone calls). I haven’t had to make a claim yet, but it seems like, if I were to have to, it would be a similarly painless, very unbureaucratic process.
