   Low-flexibility with quote negotiation, not much interaction outside initial coverage purchase

   I selected State Farm while purchasing a new vehicle. I was suggested State Farm by a family member, as they were currently covered by the same agent. I was able to call the office, and get covered fairly quickly by faxing over a few documents. The only real problems I have had with the agent/coverage is I was provided a high quote, and they seemed to have no room to negotiate. Since that time, (about a year or so), my quote has dropped by about $40, but seems to fluctuate every so often each month by about $10-15, and the agent normally has no idea why. When I called recently to get renters insurance added, they provided a high quote, and wanted a ton of paperwork. I ended up spending 5 extra minutes signing up with Lemonade to get renters insurance, which provided a lower quote, and only took 5 minutes from my phone. If I could get a better auto quote with a different agency, I most likely would.

   Great, they go above and beyond to assist clients.

   We have had nothing but great experiences with our agent. We have homeowner’s with them and have luckily never had to file a claim. We have however, had to file a few auto claims recently due to cracked windshields. The process was quick and easy and they took care of everything for us. We also recently bought a new vehicle and had to replace the old policy with the new policy. They double checked all of our auto policies and made sure we were getting the best discounts. We also refinanced this vehicle so I had to contact them to change the lienholder. Every time I have had to contact them, they respond quickly and even followed up a few weeks later via email to make sure everything was going well for us. My husband even gets discount on our policies due to a safety driving class through his employer. This has saved us quite a bit in premiums.
