When we moved to town and bought a house, our realtor signed us up with this agent. We also needed to buy a car so we got our car insurance at the same time to get the discount. Later when our first child was born the agent assistant contacted us to see if we needed any other insurance and we bought life insurance. We’ve never had a claim so most everything is on autopilot right now. Every time I’ve contacted the agency, they have been prompt and helpful. we did have an incident where I left my emergency brake off and we contact the agent and he helped us navigate what to do with the other driver. The other driver chose not to enter a claim. One time my wife was rear ended and our agent set up everything to get the car repaired and we didn’t have to interact with the other insurance provider at all. The office staff is always friendly and open. but sometimes I do wonder if I’m getting my money’s worth having an agent vs. the big online providers. I think the agency model is really there when you need it and when you need it you are happy to have an agent fighting for you.
