When we lived in our previous house we had many issues arrive in the 6 years that we lived there including one very unusual issue. Amanda had paired us with an amazing insurance company – Peerless. (We are now with Vermont because we moved but would definitely use Peerless again.) To make a long story short, when we contracted with the builder to build our house it ended up being built on the wrong lot resulting in a two year lawsuit that was of no fault of ours but ended up being our problem. Amanda was with us each step of the way and worked closely with the Peerless representative to help us through our misfortune. Insurance ended up covering all of our legal fees which with limited resources we were so thankful for. They also helped us with another big issue when our septic backed up and ruined our entire finished basement. Needless to say we have needed a lot of support through these issues and Amanda was with us each step of the way and even though the insurance companies were the ones that took care of everything she stood by us and followed up and made sure everything was done properly and quickly for us. On top of this, when we moved into our new house this fall, Peerless could no longer cover us due to the number of claims and the age and replacement cost of the house that we moved into. Amanda had to search far and wide to find an affordable company for us. She personally contacted the companies and pleaded our case explaining how rare a situation our big lawsuit claim had been and found an insurance company with a lady who had actually been through the same situation herself and was very sympathetic to our situation and agreed to cover us. Insurance agents are something you hope you would never have to use but in our case we were soooo soo lucky to have Amanda by our side.
