For the most part, very good except for it's a large office and we never seem to talk to the agent but many different staff members., August, 2016
My daughter is a teacher and accepted a job in MD. I've been battling Cancer, for several years, and relocated to stay with her while I'm being treated at Johns Hopkins Medical Center. Having moved from Florida, I needed to address a lot of changes including my insurances and also help out my daughter. We've had State Farm for many years, her mom works for them, and this agency had a good reputation for service with a long-standing presence in the community. My primary negative comment is noted above, as you requested. But, I also had a concern that my daughter was pressured into purchasing a small "Whole Life" insurance policy. In my experience, the premiums were pretty high and there was no cash value accruing. I recommended she cancel and simply increase her term coverage provided through her benefit plan as a teacher. The $50/month she was paying for $25K in whole life coverage will serve her better in her new Roth IRA. Otherwise, this is a very conscientious agent, devoted to customer service and care.Help others find the most helpful reviews
